Baker Wee & European Bakery Closures

Hello Everyone,

We understand that Baker Wee (43rd/Thunderbird) and European Bakery (35th/Bell) have closed.  Some of their patrons have informed us that they are experiencing difficulties due to the closure and are unable to collect the order they placed.  While we at Silver Rose Bakery can accommodate most custom cake designs, we don't make a few of the pastries that European Bakery made.  We stick to what we excel at: Custom cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, cheesecake, cannoli, tarts, and cream puffs.

That said... We want to offer you a one-time bonus to introduce you to our bakery.  Today only, Sunday (9/28), we will honor up to $75 based on an existing order you had with either bakery that was purchased before the closure dates and was due after the closure dates.  Tomorrow, Monday (9/29) through Sunday (10/05), we will do the same honoring but up to $50.  Then, from October 6 through 12, we will honor up to $25, and then $10 thereafter through October.  Throughout the rest of the year, we will honor $5 off.

Please note that we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, if you have an inquiry, you can leave a text or email below, and we will respond as soon as possible on Wednesday.

So, what is the catch?!  We need to see a receipt that you had an order purchased from one of the two bakeries and that your order's ready/due date was after they closed (we assume 09/26 and after).  This is valid for only patrons of the two closed operations and only for receipts that name either of the two establishments.  In addition, online ordering is not available for this offer.  Customers are required to visit our bakery (Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am-5 pm) to place their orders in person.

What do we mean by "honor up to"?  If you purchased an order in advance from either operation and bring in your receipt, we will deduct up to a certain amount from your first order with us.  If you visit today and your receipt shows that you paid $85, then we will offer a discount of $75, and you will pay $10 (plus tax and delivery, if applicable).  If instead, you paid $65, and came in today to place an order, then your first order is free, minus any delivery charges.

Why are we doing this?  Because we've helped hundreds of customers in similar situations with our canvas cakes and our availability.

We hope to see you, but until then, please don't hesitate to call or visit!

- Sincerely, Priscilla and Michael Sweet, Silver Rose Bakery
